【GA】Associate Director, Public Policy and Government Affairs
Job Description:
Provides expert support in one or more areas of national policy making & regulatory interactions in Japan. Employs expertise to develop programs and other initiatives that will facilitate and simplify future interactions with policy makers and regulatory authorities and reduce the risk of policy making and regulatory infractions.
Typical Accountabilities:
This role will be responsible for development and execution of healthcare policy advocacy for patient benefits and AstraZeneca's business objectives.
The healthcare policy advocacy will cover AZ's all theraputic areas, such as oncology, respiratory & immunology, cardiovascular, renal and metabolic diseases, vaccine and immune therapy, and intend to improve national health policy environment in each theraputic area.
This role cross functionally collaborates with internal stakeholders, such as marketing, medical and R&D to understand issues in each theraputic area business and identify policy issues to be solved for patient benefits and AstraZeneca's business.
The role monitors central healthcare policy, identifies issues in each thraputic area, and shape engagement strategy with Diet, government, academia and other stakeholders.
Based on the strategy, the role engages with Diet members, government officials, key opinion leaders in public policy/academic societies, and industry associations to advocate issues to be solved.
This role will share progress of engagement and program execution with internal stakeholders in periodic business team meetings for each theraputic area to keep internal stakeholder engagement and obtain their support.
This role will report to Director of Public Policy and Government Affairs.

<必須 / Mandatory>
• Diet members & government engagement and policy advocacy in healthcare for 5 years or more
• Bachelor's degree
• Capability of stakeholder engagement strategy development
• Capability of relationship building with policy stakeholder
• Knowledge in policy development process
•Knowledge in healthcafe policy
• Team working spirit and skill
• Fluency in Japanese both verbal and written. Good at English reading and writing
